I am a self-taught product designer who kick-started his design career as a graphic designer. I presently live in Lagos, Nigeria, where I have assisted companies and startups such as Gigsnet in developing E-learning solutions for empowering young Africans with the relevant digital skills needed to thrive in the gig economy, as well as volunteering and giving my design skills to the Geneza School of the design team.
I previously oversaw the redesign of a simple Artificial Intelligence guided workouts platform called Tyron, which expanded to over 15k+ users in its first 4 months of operation, with over 5k+ active users monthly. Over the past 3 years, I have collaborated with a startup team called MoveRumble. MoveRumble is a smartphone app, which connects freelance delivery riders with small businesses, I was the associate designer on the product. In the last 3 years, I've worked with over 15+ enterprises, startups, and brands building superhero experiences.
My job is exciting. I get to collaborate and work with brilliant tech founders and entrepreneurs to bring new solutions to life. I also get to satisfy my curiosity by learning about new concepts and such as the crypto and NFT space and demographics as I research how to build the perfect user experiences for them.
I believe that the projects I have been opportune to work on have shaped my design experience. UI/UX design is a bit of trial and error. It’s kind of scientific. You do your research, make your best hypothesis and then test it. Rinse, repeat and ensure it is always centred on satisfying your ideal users
